2008 ENERGY STAR® Award
Applications Now Available

Each year, the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the US Department of Energy (DOE) recognize the significant contributions organizations make to protect our environment through their partnership with ENERGY STAR. All organizations participating in the ENERGY STAR program are encouraged to apply for a 2008 ENERGY STAR Award. To be considered, an organization must meet the specific eligibility requirements in the award application and submit a complete application package postmarked by December 15, 2007. Applications and instructions can be found on the Web at www.energystar.gov/awards. Award winners will be notified by EPA in January 2008 and subsequently honored at the ENERGY STAR Awards Ceremony in Washington, DC on April 1, 2008.

 2007 ENERGY STAR Partner of the Year Award Winners

Earlier this year, EPA awarded the Commodore Corporation, CMH Manufacturing, Inc., (a subsidiary of Clayton Homes, Inc.) and Palm Harbor Homes with the 2007 ENERGY STAR Partner of the Year Award for their achievements in transforming their markets to ENERGY STAR. The Partner of the Year recognition is awarded to outstanding partners who have helped to establish a significant presence for ENERGY STAR qualified new homes in one or more regional markets. These companies have demonstrated a commitment to the construction of ENERGY STAR qualified new homes, contributed to the growth of ENERGY STAR in their markets, and effectively included ENERGY STAR in their marketing and sales efforts.
